Returns & Right of Withdrawal

We want you to be confident in your purchase. This page explains how returns work for the Hantavirus IgG/IgM rapid test, including the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal that applies to consumers in the European Union and our return policy for customers in other regions. Business (B2B) orders are not covered by the consumer right of withdrawal.

EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

If you live in the European Union and ordered as a private consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier indicated by you, acquired physical possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Bormann Bioscience LLC, 1065 Southwest 8th Street #1563, Miami, FL 33130, USA, email: service@buyhantatest.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement, for example a letter sent by post or an email. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for any supplementary costs arising if you chose a delivery type other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from the contract.

We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction for the reimbursement, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You must send back the goods or hand them over to our returns department without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal ends early for sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene once the seal has been broken after delivery. The Hantavirus IgG/IgM rapid test is a sealed medical in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) device, so once the foil pouch or tamper seal is opened, the test can no longer be returned for a refund. Please keep the product sealed if you think you may want to return it.

International Returns (outside the EU)

Customers ordering from outside the European Union are not covered by the EU Consumer Rights Directive, but we still offer a voluntary returns policy under the conditions below.

• 14-day window: You may request a return within 14 days of the delivery date.
• Condition: The test must be unopened, unused, and the tamper-evident seal must be intact. Because this is a medical IVD product, opened tests cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons.
• How to start a return: Email service@buyhantatest.com with your order number before sending anything back. We will confirm the return address and provide instructions.
• Return shipping: You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged, defective, or was sent in error. We recommend a tracked service, as we cannot refund items that do not reach us.
• Refunds: Once we receive and inspect the return, we will issue a refund to your original payment method, normally within 14 days. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
• Customs and duties: Any import duties or taxes paid on the original order are not refunded by us; please contact your local customs authority for reclaim options.

Damaged, defective, or wrong items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or you received the wrong product, please email service@buyhantatest.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you, irrespective of where you are located.
